Jaw asks for money from Bai Gou to escape from the country. Bai Gou looks for Hu Jia and expresses his wish to work with him to earn more money by helping Zhang Yan to win the elections. Hu Jia finally avenges Tang Shui Mei’s death when Bai Gou reveals Jaw’s whereabouts.

Minghui looks for Zhang Min and discovers her battered body as a result of trying to induce a miscarriage but the foetus is unharmed. Dangyong visits the deranged Zhang Min and the couple decides to get married after a tearful reunion.

Zhang Yan learns Dangyong and family are living happily in a wooden house and decides to set the house on fire with them in it. Hong Kuan discovers Zhang Yan and he reveals to Hong Kuan that he is his real father. Hong Kuan breaks free when Zhang Yan tries to take him away. Zhang Yan’s lighter dropped onto the kerosene, causing a huge fire. What will happen to Zhang Yan? Will Hu Jia and Minghui have a happy ending?
